Cheesy Herbed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. finely chopped carrot
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    2 tsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, thyme or tarragon, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. milk or light cream
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese or 4 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Trim fat from meat.
    In a large skillet, cook chops in margarine or butter over medium heat for 5 minutes.
    Turn chops and add carrot.
    Cook for 5 to 7 minutes more or until no pink remains.
    Remove chops.
