Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1 c. water (salted)
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 stick butter
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla for top
Preparation
    Pour rice slowly into boiling salt water in large pan.
    Do not stir.
    Cover and cook exactly 5 minutes.
    Water will be absorbed. Add milk and butter, stir a little, bring to boil, cover and cook over over low until rice is soft, 20 to 30 minutes.
    Beat eggs and sugar, add vanilla and raisins.
    Pour egg mixture into rice slowly until it thickens.
    Pour into dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
