Connie'S Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pineapple wedges
1 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening, at room temperature
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in a baking pan on top of stove on medium heat.
Add brown sugar to melted butter and stir until evenly mixed.
Arrange pineapple or other fruit and nuts onto sugar mixture.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add shortening to dry ingredients in a bowl.
