Ingredients

5 to 6 c. crumbled cornbread
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. poultry seasonings
2 to 3 tsp. rubbed sage, or to taste
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 c. chicken broth or more to moisten
Preparation

Simmer large chicken until tender.
Let cool in broth.
Remove meat from bones in small chunks.
