Margaret'S Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. uncooked regular grits
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Bring water to a boil in large saucepan. Add salt. Stir in grits slowly. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Cook 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cheese, margarine and Worcestershire sauce.
    Stir 1/4 of the mixture into the eggs, then combine with remaining grits.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour until set and lightly browned.
    Knife should come out clean.
