German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    6 medium potatoes (about 2 1/2 lb.), peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place bacon and green onion in small bowl; cover.
    Microwave at High 5 to 7 minutes.
    Stir in vinegar, sugar and salt; set aside.
