Simple Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter and margarine
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. chopped pecans
    1 box raisins
    1 (1 oz.) bottle vanilla flavoring
    1 (1 oz.) bottle lemon flavoring
    1 3/4 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
    Mix flour and baking powder, use 1/2 flour to dredge fruit.
    Mix rest of flour in egg, butter and sugar.
    Mix fruit and nuts to frost.
    Bake in tube pan. Only takes 30 minutes at 300\u00b0, then turn down to 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool in pan, upside down.
    Makes 2 small fruit cakes.
