Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

16 oz. bag frozen broccoli
1 c. rice
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded American cheese
Preparation

Thaw and drain frozen broccoli; cook rice as directed on package and drain.
Mix into 2-quart casserole dish, broccoli, rice, cream soups, pepper, 1/2 the onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or 5 minutes in microwave. Top with remaining onions and cheese; bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes longer or 3 minutes in microwave.
Yield:
About 12 servings.
