Hot Milk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 lb. oleo
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
dash of salt

Preparation

Heat oleo in milk until hot and melted.
Beat eggs and add sugar.
Beat until thick and creamy.
Turn on low speed and add vanilla and flour.
Add heated milk and oleo.
Add baking powder and salt.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes in greased and floured pan.
(Makes a good cake for strawberry short cake.)
