Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 pod hot pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. sweet milk
    1/2 c. fat or less
    1 small can cream-style corn
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. pork sausage (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine ingredients and bake in greased iron skillet or 9 x 13 pan. Amount of hot pepper to your taste (jalapeno). Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
