Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. each vanilla, almond and lemon extract
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix on medium speed until well blended and smooth (approximately 6 minutes).
    Pour into a tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
    Take cake out of pan and continue cooling on a wire rack.
