Breast Of Chicken Shirley - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 whole chicken breasts, skinned, boned and split
salt and paprika to taste
1/3 c. butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp. curry powder
2 c. sour cream
1 c. sliced mushrooms, saut
1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350\u00b0. Season chicken with salt and paprika. Melt butter in a large skillet on medium high. Brown chicken quickly on both sides of each piece on medium high. Transfer to shallow pan large enough to accomodate pieces in a single layer. Combine soup and curry and pour over the chicken. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Remove chicken and stir in sour cream, mushrooms and almonds into sauce. Return chicken to dish and spoon sauce over all. Bake uncovered until bubbly and brown.
