Baked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 can cream of celery soup
    buttered bread crumbs
    12 medium new potatoes
    1 c. grated medium sharp cheese
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash potatoes (don't peel).
    Slice into 1/4-inch slices.
    Cook in boiling, salted water until done.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Place layer each of potatoes, cheese and bacon in casserole dish.
    Pour on half of butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Repeat.
    Heat in oven about 15 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
