Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/4 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    1 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix together sugar, shortening and sweet potatoes. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    With pastry blender, cut sweet potato mixture into dry ingredients.
    Turn out onto floured surface and knead lightly.
    Roll dough out 1/2-inch thick, cut and place on cookie sheet.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes until brown.
