Santa'S Thumbprints - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. Quaker oats
2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix ingredients.
Roll into 1-inch balls, then roll into crushed nuts.
Place on cookie sheet, press thumb in middle of cookie and fill with jelly.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
