Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine or butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts (if you like)
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (if you like)

Preparation

Heat the oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease the bottom only of a square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inches, with shortening.
