Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. Uncle Ben's converted rice
    3 c. water
    1/2 gal. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk (large)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil rice and water until water is absorbed.
    Add cornstarch. Add milk and sugar; simmer until reduced to proper consistency. Add vanilla.
