Lemon Angel Food Cake Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Boil the first 3 ingredients until thick.
    Beat the egg yolks; add the lemon juice.
    Mix well.
    Add this to the first mixture. Cool completely.
    Fold in the whipped cream.
