English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. pecans or walnuts
    1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 lb. butter (not margarine)
Preparation
    Prepare nuts, 3 cups chopped coarse and 1 cup chopped fine. Save the finely chopped nuts for the topping.
