Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 medium yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    4 Tbsp. margarine, divided in half
    1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in small amount of salted water until tender.
    Drain off liquid.
    Add 1/2 of bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons margarine, cheese, salt, pepper and egg.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish and top with remaining bread crumbs.
    Dot with remaining margarine.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
