Simpson'S Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round or sirloin
steak (thick is best)
medium onion, sliced
salt, pepper, and flour
small can tomato sauce
Tabasco sauce
Preparation

Pound or rub in salt, pepper and flour on steak.
Brown in hot oil along with slices of onion.
Pile onions on meat.
Mix tomato sauce, a little water, and Tabasco sauce to taste.
Pour over steak.
Simmer, covered, about 1 hour.
Steak may be cut into serving size pieces before cooking if desired.
