Chalupas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. pork or beef roast
1 lb. pinto beans
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 can diced green chilies
1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Soak beans overnight.
Drain.
Put all ingredients into crock-pot.
Cover with water.
Cook on low temperature 8 to 10 hours.
Remove roast and debone.
Put meat back into pot and cook 1 more hour to improve flavor.
