Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. flavoring (lemon, vanilla or almond)
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add milk and flour alternately.
    Add flavoring and baking powder.
    Mix well until creamy.
    Bake in tube pan until pick comes out clean (1 1/2 hours).
    Start out with cold oven.
    Do not preheat.
