Apple Strudel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. dark rum
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. sliced toasted almonds, crushed slightly
    1/3 c. unseasoned French bread crumbs
    5 phyllo leaves
    2 oz. (1/2 stick) margarine, melted
Preparation
    Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, almonds, rum and bread crumbs.
    Let set 1 hour or overnight.
    When the filling is ready, coat each phyllo leaf with butter and stack.
    Work quickly, phyllo dries fast.
    Add the filling down the center.
    Bring in the sides and fold up, egg roll fashion.
    Brush with melted butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream.
