Old Time Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. cornmeal
Preparation

Soften butter to room temperature, beat in sugar and eggs.
No need to cream sugar and butter, unless you are the kind that likes to revive the pleasure of making mud pies.
Sprinkle in cornmeal, vanilla and vinegar, mix well.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell (8 or 9 inch).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes or until filling is set.
