Chocolate Pinwheels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 sq. bitter chocolate
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar, salt, vanilla and unbeaten egg yolk. Fold dry ingredients lightly into mixture alternately with milk. Divide dough into two parts.
Mix melted chocolate into one part. Chill both 10 minutes.
Roll or pat white dough to thin rectangular sheet.
Pat chocolate part on top of white to within 1/2 inch of edge.
Roll like jelly roll.
Put in waxed paper and chill in refrigerator until firm.
Cut in thin slices.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen small cookies.
