New Jersey Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. gelatin
3/4 c. cold water
3/4 c. boiling water
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. pineapple juice
3 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 1/4 c. (1/4-inch) cubed cucumber
1 1/4 c. (1/4-inch) cubed pineapple
Preparation

Soak gelatin in cold water and dissolve in boiling water. Add sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice, tarragon vinegar, lemon juice and salt.
When thickened, add cucumber and pineapple which have been chilled and drained.
Pour into individual molds and chill. Turn out on lettuce leaves and arrange on platter.
