Ingredients

1 c. Crisco, melted
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. minute quick oats
1 c. nuts (optional)
1/2 c. peanut butter (optional)
Preparation

Beat melted Crisco, sugar, milk, cocoa, salt and vanilla together and cook for 2 minutes.
Cool for 1 minute.
Add oats and nuts and peanut butter.
Spoon onto waxed paper (cookie size) and allow to cool.
Makes 2 to 3 dozen cookies.
