Cool Lemon Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. soft shortening
1 egg
2 T. water
1 c. flaked coconut
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 large pkg. Lemon pudding and pie filling mix
Preparation

Mix shortening, egg, water, coconut and cake mix.
Pat dough into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees until golden.
(Crust is still soft when done.)
Cool.
Pour prepared lemon pie filling over crust.
Chill.
Spread with whipped cream; Chill.
Cut in squares.
(For thicker filling, make 2 pkg. lemon pie filling.)
