Fettucine With Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 fresh asparagus spears (about 1/2 lb.)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. fettucine
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped basil and parsley
Preparation
    Cut asparagus on bias 1 inch.
    Cook until done.
    Cook fettucine.
    Heat butter in pot fettucine was cooked in.
    Add asparagus to fettucine.
    Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, 2 tablespoons of cooking liquid and basil.
    Serve hot with Parmesan cheese.
