Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (16 oz.) chopped kraut
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 hot pepper (optional)
    1 (10 oz.) jar pimentos
    2 c. sugar or less
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Bring sugar, vinegar and salt to a boil.
    Let cool.
    Cut up pepper and onion and mix with kraut and pimentos.
    Pour sugar-vinegar mixture over kraut mixture.
    Makes 1/2 gallon.
    Keep in refrigerator.
