Oven Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 lb. apples
    1 pt. cider
    salt to taste (1 tsp.)
    9 Tbsp. vinegar or to taste
    5 lb. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel, core and cook apples until soft.
    In a large roaster, combine cooked apples, plus other ingredients.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or more, until butter jells around edges.
    Stir frequently. Process in hot jars for 5 minutes.
