Party Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (48 oz.) bottle grapefruit juice
    1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 c. lemon juice
    2 liters lemon-lime soda, chilled
Preparation
    In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in water.
    Add juices. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled.
    Just before serving, stir in soda.
    Yields 7 1/2 quarts.
