Baked Rice With Chiles And Cheese - cooking recipe

1 c. rice, cooked and cooled
salt
2 (4 oz.) cans diced green chiles
1/4 c. grated Parmesan
2 c. sour cream
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, diced
Preparation

Combine rice, sour cream and salt to taste, mixing well. Spread half of rice mixture in a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish (or spray with Pam).
Sprinkle half the Cheddar cheese on top. Add a layer of green chilies and top with remaining cheese. Spread remaining rice on top.
Dot surface with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
