Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
1 lb. 3 oz. can tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp
dashes of Tabasco (optional)
2 medium onions, chopped
Preparation

Melt butter in a large pan.
Stir in garlic, green peppers and onions.
Cook until tender, stirring frequently.
Pour in tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Clean shrimp and add to sauce; cook 5 minutes.
Add Tabasco.
Serve with steamed rice.
Serves 6.
