Round-Up Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. ground round
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    3 tsp. chili powder
    4 slices bacon
Preparation
    In ungreased 2-quart casserole, place layer of rice.
    Sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper.
    Pour in 1 can tomato sauce and hot water.
    Add layers of onion and green pepper, then a layer of ground beef.
    Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Top with layer of corn.
    Add chili powder to last can of tomato sauce; pour over corn.
    Top with bacon slices.
    Cover; bake for 1 hour.
    Uncover; bake for 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    This may be made in 2 dishes and freeze one for later use.
