Green Mountain Gingersnaps* - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Cream shortening in bowl.
Add sugar, molasses and egg, mix thoroughly.
Sift remaining ingredients together, stir into creamed mixture.
Roll into small balls, place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes or until done.
