Potato Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) box hash brown potatoes with onions
    1 (16 oz.) container crab meat or imitation, finely chopped
    2/3 c. mayonnaise
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. dry plain bread crumbs
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. chopped red or green pepper
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 c. corn oil
Preparation
    Prepare potatoes according to package directions; drain and pat dry.
    Place in large bowl.
    Add all remaining ingredients except oil.
    Stir until well blended.
    Shape into 8 patties. Place on waxed paper lined tray.
    Cover and refrigerate 2 hours. In large skillet heat oil over medium heat.
    Add patties; cook until browned on both sides, about 10 minutes.
