Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. very soft margarine
6 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, except morsels and nuts).
Stir by hand until well blended.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons about 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 9 minutes until light golden brown.
Cool 1 minute.
Remove from cookie sheet.
