Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. orange juice
4 apples, cored, sliced and peeled (Rome apples are best)
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix flour, 2 cups sugar, oil, eggs, baking powder and orange juice together.
Blend until smooth.
Pour half into greased tube or Bundt cake pan.
Put half the apples on top of cake batter. Mix cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar; sprinkle half on top of apples.
Pour in the rest of batter and repeat layers of apples and cinnamon-sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
