Fish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 x 2-inch) salt pork, cut up
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 lb. potatoes, peeled and chopped
    3 c. water
    1 lb. fish, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 (5 oz.) can milk
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 boiled egg, mashed
Preparation
    Cook salt pork in a Dutch oven over low heat for 20 minutes or until most of the fat is rendered.
    Add onion.
    Cook over medium heat until onion is tender and pork is brown.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
    Add fish, soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce and egg. Continue cooking until potatoes are tender and soup is heated through.
    Makes 8 servings.
