Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. Spanish peanuts
Preparation
    Use all brown sugar but 1 cup.
    Add milk; boil until it forms hard ball in cold water.
    Remove from burner.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Beat until thick.
    Add peanuts.
    Pour into 10 x 10-inch pan.
