Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    4 bananas, mashed
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs in bowl.
    Sift in dry ingredients.
    Add bananas and nuts; mix well.
    Spoon into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until bread tests done.
    Cool slightly in pans.
    Makes 2 loaves.
