Dutch Corn Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 slices bacon
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. cut-off corn
2 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Fry
bacon
until
crisp.
Crumble.
Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings.
Add water, corn and cabbage to drippings.
Cook covered about 5 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Add bacon and seasoning.
Mix lightly and serve.
