Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 angel food cake
1 can cherry pie filling (not canned cherries in syrup)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
Preparation

Slice cake into 2 layers.
Make filling of cream cheese, Cool Whip, sugar and flavoring.
Spread bottom layer with filling, then top with layer of pie filling.
Top with remaining cake layer, another layer of filling and then the remaining pie filling.
Do not try to ice sides of cake, filling will not cling.
Chill several hours before serving.
