Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 to 8 medium squash
    3/4 c. diced onions
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    Ritz crackers, crushed (enough to cover casserole)
Preparation
    Wash and cut squash in 2-inch pieces.
    Dice onions.
    Put both in large pan with water to cover the vegetables; salt and pepper. Boil until soft.
    Drain water and mash squash and onions; let cool. Add egg, mayonnaise, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Put in casserole dish and cover with shredded cheese and Ritz crackers.
    Drizzle with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
