Chilly Billy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground chuck
1-1/2 lb. hot sausage
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 green pepper or plabono pepper, chopped
3 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. dry parsley
1 large can tomatoes and small Rotel
1/3 c. chili powder
1-1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. black pepper
3/4 tsp. Accent
1-1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 can beer
3 cans kidney beans (1 red, 1 dark red, 1 white)
Preparation

Brown beef and sausage in heavy pot.
Saute peppers in oil for 5 minutes.
Then add onions and garlic.
Cook until tender.
Add tomatoes and parsley.
Stir in chili powder.
Cook 10 minutes and add remaining ingredients EXCEPT beans.
Cook covered.
Simmer 1 hour.
Then add beans.
Let cook on lowest heat for another 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
Keep on lowest heat.
