Colonial Brown Bread - cooking recipe

2 3/4 c. Pillsbury's Best all-purpose or unbleached flour
2 1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best whole wheat flour
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. buttermilk *

*To substitute for buttermilk, use 1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice plus milk to make four cups.
