Leftover Roast And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. or more margarine
    1 medium/small onion, chopped
    1 can tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. vinegar
    2 whole cloves
    1 bay leaf
    cooked rice
    parsley, chopped
    cubed, cooked beef or pork
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large skillet; add onion and saute over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Stir in canned tomatoes with juice.
    Add next 8 ingredients.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat; add cubed, cooked beef or pork.
    Simmer covered 45 minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice.
    Add parsley if desired.
