Wild Rice Venison Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. venison
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1/2 onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. raw washed wild rice
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Dredge venison in flour.
    Brown in bacon fat with onion.
    Add to 3-quart baking pan with next six ingredients.
    Parboil wild rice in water.
    Boil until almost tender.
    Add to baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
